Is your daughter pulling away, overwhelmed, struggling with friendships, school pressure or confidence, or simply needing some extra support navigating this stage?

She’s pulling away more, friendships and school seem harder, and she's spending more time on her phone or in her room. Perhaps little things become big things now, or she simply doesn’t seem as vibrant, open or sure of herself as she once did.
You know she could use some support, but you don’t necessarily think she needs therapy.
And you don’t want to wait until things become serious before giving her the tools to handle what she’s going through.
This in-person workshop is designed to do just that
Upcoming Resilience & Confidence Workshops
10am - 4pm, Saturday 24th October, Torquay
Investment: $247 (Early Bird)
Friendships become more complicated.
Comparison creeps in.
School pressure increases.
Screens and social media become a bigger part of life.
Emotions can feel more intense.
They are learning how to understand and communicate what is happening inside them.
Maybe nothing is overly 'wrong' but it can still be overwhelming. For them, and for you.
How a young person learns to navigate these moments matters.
The Resilience & Confidence Workshop gives girls a safe, welcoming place to step away from everyday pressure and learn practical skills they can take back into school, friendships, family life and the challenges ahead.
We want to equipping them with the tools they need now, and into the future.

Pulling away or becoming more withdrawn
Finding friendships harder to navigate
Comparing herself to other girls
Losing confidence in herself
Feeling overwhelmed by school or expectations
Spending more time on screens to escape or switch off
Struggling to explain what she is feeling
Arguing, snapping or reacting more than usual
Experiencing bigger emotions she doesn’t know how to manage
Wanting more independence but still needing support
Simply going through the very normal challenges of growing up
She doesn’t need to be in crisis to benefit from learning how to understand herself better.
In fact, we believe these are skills young people deserve to learn before life feels too hard.
Instead of immediately shutting down, exploding, avoiding or looking to someone else to fix it...
She could recognise what she was feeling
Understand what was happening in her body
Know how to help herself regulate
Communicate what she needs
Navigate conflict
Reflect on what happened, and
Have the confidence to take the next step herself
A simple process she can use when something feels hard; at home, at school, with friends or within herself.
How to notice what you’re feeling, what triggered it and what’s happening beneath the surface.
Learn simple ways to move through big emotions so they don’t build up or take over.
Understand what this moment can teach you and practise a healthier way to respond next time.
Look back on what happened, what worked and what you want to do differently moving forward.
Big emotions
How to recognise emotions before they completely take over.
Emotional regulation
Simple breathing, movement and somatic tools that help the body settle.

The girls will talk.
Move.
Reflect.
Laugh.
Connect.
Practise.
Ask questions.
And learn through experiences designed specifically for this stage of life.
Our role isn’t to swoop in and solve their problems for them, it is to create the space, ask the questions and give them practical tools so they begin learning:
“I can work through this.”
That distinction is at the heart of Unravel.
And our method has been proven to work in homes and in schools for the last 3 years.
Parents join Joanne and the girls for the final hour of the day.
You’ll be introduced to the language and strategies your daughter has been learning so that when she comes home, you have a shared way to talk about what is happening.
You’ll understand:
The Unravel Method
Language you can use when emotions are high
How to support without immediately fixing
Ways to continue building these skills at home
Because one great day can start something, but it becomes much more powerful when the family knows how to continue it.

Your daughter will receive:
A full-day facilitated experience from 9am–3pm
A small-group environment, limited to 20 girls
Her own printed Unravel workbook
Practical emotional regulation tools
Guided activities and discussions
Online recap videos to revisit afterwards
A gift on arrival
Parent integration session during the final
hour
Tools and language your family can continue using at home

Joanne Panetta is an educator, school wellbeing consultant, qualified children’s meditation teacher and TEDx speaker.
Her work sits between home, school and the world young people are growing into.
Through years of working with young people, educators and families, Joanne has seen that children don’t simply need adults to tell them to be more resilient.
They need to be shown how.
The Unravel Method gives young people a practical way to recognise what is happening, work through difficult emotions, develop new responses and learn from their experiences.
Joanne creates an environment that is warm and welcoming, while treating young people as capable humans who can learn to understand themselves and navigate life with increasing confidence.

Joanne has helped my daughter Tia so much. She has a way of encouraging her talk about things that have been sitting there for a while with a lightness that just works for our daughter. Joanne has helped us to support her through navigating recovering from injury and this impacting her mindset.

We have worked with Joanne for many years and found that her way helps our children so much. We have tried working with psychologists and counsellors but we continue to come back to Joanne’s Unravel Method because it works. Her connection with the kids is something special.

Joanne has worked with Mietta for years in her primary school age and now in the Unravel Teen Program. They have a great relationship and connect through laughter and play. As we step into teen years, we feel confident that Mietta has Joanne as part of her community to help navigate the hard things.

I saw Joanne’s TEDx talk online and followed her and when we met in person I just knew we would work well together. She has guided us in our journey around exploring new ways of looking at educating our children and we wanted her to be part of our lives while the kids were young to support us as a family.
She is now like part of our family. Our kids adore her. Her knowledge & wisdom are next level but above all she is warm, loving and genuine. I recommend her to everyone I meet!

Joanne has worked with my family in many ways; all together, just with my children in a home school sense, with just my husband and I and also with my daughter and I and what is clear is that she listens so deeply and replies with love and truth and this is really refreshing.
She will call us out on things in a loving way and that has helped us more than you can know. We can’t recommend her enough.

We were referred to Joanne by friends and she has proven to be everything we were looking for and more for our sons.
She not only supports us with homeschooling in an academic sense, she connects with our boys and gets to the core of what's holding confidence back, especially in writing.
She is warm, welcoming and genuine and we can’t recommend her enough.

Joanne is very easy to talk to! She hads such big heart.

Joanne helps me whenever I have friendship problems. I know I can go to her.

Joanne is very kind and she helps us in ways that other people can't.
Growing up comes with friendship changes, mistakes, disappointment, pressure, conflict, comparison, big emotions and moments when she isn’t sure what to do next.
We can’t remove all of those experiences, but we can give her better tools to move through them.
